Safeguarding & Child Protection

The welfare of children and young people involved in GEMS activities is our highest priority.

We operate under a formal Child Protection Policy aligned with Kent County Council guidance and relevant legislation. A designated Child Protection Officer oversees safeguarding arrangements during rehearsals, performances, and events.

All members and volunteers working with children follow appropriate safeguarding procedures, supervision standards, and licensing requirements to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
