Gravesend Entertainment & Musical Society has a deserved reputation for musical excellence and the broad range of music we present.  We have a history stretching back to 1912 and we strive to continue with the traditions of live music.  We have two strings to our bow, the staged musical events and a choir, which is how the Society originally began all those years ago, and each year we are producing concerts and shows for the public.

Love to sing?

Come and join us!

No audition required.

Whether you can read music or not, come and try us out. We are a friendly, fun group, open to all, and perform a wide range of popular music.  You can either sing in the choir, take part in our annual staged show or both - it's up to you!

PLEASE NOTE: Following our successful Spring Concerts at Christ Church, Gravesend, the choir will be taking a break from rehearsals until later in the year.

HOWEVER, we will shortly be commencing rehearsals for our next exciting staged production.

Rehearsals will be on a Tuesday evening from 8.00pm to 10.00pm at the Emmanual Baptist Church, Windmill Street, Gravesend (in the large hall at the rear) apart from the first Tuesday of each month which will be held at a different venue to be confirmed.

Please watch this space for further details!

In the meantime, if you would like more information,

please contact us.

We hope to announce news of our next staged production for November 2022 shortly.  (Tap shoes and a sailor outfit may be useful!!)

Please keep checking here for further information.

Well done to Adrian, the performers and various helpers who contributed to making our Spring Concerts at Christ Church, Gravesend a great success on 13th and 14th of May.

Thank you to everyone who came along to support us and our nominated charity, The House Of Mercy.
